On May 19, 2021, College of San Benildo-Rizal (CoSB-R) and Rakso CT held a Virtual Signing Ceremony that formalized the school’s shift to using Microsoft 365 Education as its Learning Management System (LMS). The school, seeking to improve its LMS, decided that utilizing Microsoft’s products is the next step. “We believe that Microsoft is one of the leaders in the field of technology and will be able to assist San Benildo in enhancing the learning experience of our students especially in the digital classroom,” said CoSB-R President-Chancellor Ms. Marilisa Tizon in her special address.
This transition is made possible by Rakso CT, a Microsoft Global Training Partner and a Microsoft-authorized vendor of its products and licenses. As part of this agreement, CoSB-R will also receive Microsoft 365 Education licenses, full training in using Microsoft Teams (for its school personnel, students, and parents), and other necessary services the school needs to fully transition to a Virtual Campus Setup powered by Microsoft 365 for Education.
As early as the incoming academic year (2021-2022), CoSB-R will begin holding classes via Microsoft Teams and will have full access to various Microsoft applications such as Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Stream, and more for all school staff, teachers, and students. As stated by Ms. Marilisa Tizon, “[CoSB-R] would like to provide students with a flexible and adaptable platform like Microsoft Teams to ensure that they have a variety of learning and socialization opportunities during remote learning.”
